Sisters in Crime is a professional association intended to advance the careers of women writing mysteries and crime fiction. I joined SIsters in Crime about a year ago, and I am a big fan. The national association holds write-ins on Zoom every Tuesday and Friday, a collective activity that has helped me get my word count up many weeks. The act of working on a project while logged into a webinar seems strange, but the solidarity is strong! I recommend Sisters in Crime, or any similar professional association for writers that offers support and camaraderie.
